One week already passed and I havent received my paypal funds yet as if I want to cry huhuhuhu… I already sent an email to paypal but still I havent received any reply from them. I made a withdrawal last Jan 24, 2008 and till now the status is still pending. I read a lot of forum and just found out that the problem I am encountering maybe a MAJOR GLITCH at paypal! It seems that Paypal had to do some maintennce on January 24 which might affected all the withdrawals on January 24th and January 25th. I already made 2 transactions and all of it are still pending. Im expecting the money this week but it really is so sad for knowing that I cannot even use it this week and purchasing stuffs is tentative. It really made me feel bad. Whoever among you are having the same problem kindly inform me of how this can be solved and when. I bet this really is a money loss since dollar value is having a downfall nowadays.
Pending Paypal Withdrawal

Getting In Touch is a Terrible Feeling
November 8th, 2007 · 2 Comments
I opened a friend’s profile at friendster and to my surprise, I just end up closing it. It really is weird. I’d like to give a testimomial for that person but after seeing and reading lines of information about him, I felt different. He is one of the closest person that I have. I am so happy for him but the feeling of loosing is where the issue stands. I can’t believe that getting intouch is a terrible feeling or the fact of I liking him hurts.
Why do we like a person? By looks, attitude, security, etc… It is great to know you like a person but what if there is a hindrance? They say LOVE conquers all. I guess that is the reason why I made a wall between us. The feeling should not pursue for a reason that I already have a comitment. I already am happy with my present relationship and I want to nurture it with care. But why do I feel Im longing for something? It is really hard to choose between right and wrong. I dont want to give up my long term relationship with something that makes me happy for a while. Suddently I realize, its not having that person can make me the luckiest person in the world but having a contented life will do. It seems that getting in touch is just one of the factor/ a ladder to be happy eventhough sometimes, it really gives a terrible sensation. Either ways, this what builds me and any person reading this post and on the end of the line , hope to get intouch with you!

Featuring “Tau Gamma Phi” Fraternity/Sorority
October 24th, 2007 · No Comments

This is the first time for me to feature a fraternity/sorority on my blog. Honestly, I really am pleased that someone asked me to write something eventhough Im not a part of it. I graduated from a school in pasig but haven’t tried joining such a sorority yet. I feared of hazing and doing something that doesn’t make me feel comfortable. Just being curious, why do these people likes to be part of “Tau Gamma Phi”? What do they have? To get some points, here are list I got from different point of views :
Gather Lifelong Friendship
Speaking of friendship, Tau Gamma Phi started on 1968 so as expected there is already lot of member in this frat. From different walks of life they are bound of friendship denoted as co-operative and supportive behavior in the group. In simplest term call it MUTUAL. Mutual in a sense of involving knowledge, affection, sympathy, empathy, etc.
Receiving Support
In all means, if a praternity connotes friendship surely it connotes support. Support financially, academically and even in a crazy style hehehe, etc. Older brothers can serve as tutors and mentors for new members. In case of problems, you can count on them. This frat is already brought internationally (US) so surely you can hang on them so guys here I come…
Developing Skills and Talents
Since the group is supportive, skills and talents arise. Brethren have different likes and experiences for your hearts to learn and ponder. Just absorb as much as you can.
Enjoy Social Activities & Sports
There are variety of activities that the group involved in. Sports are an important part of the experience. Whatever your skill, whatever your interest, there is a team for you to participate on. There are social activities for everyone, whether you prefer small groups or large crowds. Social should be defined as interacting with a variety of people in unique settings.
Just to leave a small note, brotherhood/sisterhood is good but if someone says hazing, I can no longer say it is. If you are telling that fraternity requires hazing I bet its not. It should be camaraderie. If anyone can hear my voice, I suggest open a fraternity with no hazing, if you have one surely you can count on me… Anyway, I guess there is walla a christian fraternity but I guess I like to try Tau Gamma Phi. Hmmm… hope its not just on my dreams…

All About Goths
October 24th, 2007 · 2 Comments

I like wearing black clothes and pretend to be funky… As times pass by, I heard about goth. I started to fear them. But do I really need to fear them? As to my research about goth, it is undefined. It has lots of meaning or should I say, goth is described individually. The description of goth is based on your own interpretation. Most of us coined goth in satanism but believe it or not, I read and found some sites wherein they are christian goths. Hmmm… It really sounds odd. To begin it, lets look at its history :
History and background:
| * | The words Goth and Gothic have had many, largely unrelated meanings in the past:
|
||||||
| * | Goth, as a modern movement, started as one component of the punk rock scene. As the latter faded, Goth survived by creating its own subculture. | ||||||
| * | The first use of the term Goth in its present meaning is believed to have been on a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) TV program. Anthony H. Wilson, manager of Joy Division described the band as Gothic compared with the pop mainstream. The name stuck. | ||||||
| * | Their use of black clothing was originally “something of a backlash to the colorful disco music of the seventies.“ It also stuck. | ||||||
| * | The movement first became established in the Batcave, a nightclub in London, England, in the early 1980’s. | ||||||
| * | Spreading to the U.S., it first became popular in California. | ||||||
| * | Goth is featured in The Crow horror movies (1994, 1996). Other Gothic movies are the original Nosferatu, the color remake Nosferatu the Vampyre, and the Cabinet of Doctor Caligari. | ||||||
| * | Popular music bands are the Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Sisters of Mercy, Dead Can Dance, and many others. |
After some reviews, they say goth is a state of mind… It can be described as having interest not found in a mainstream of people. I storngly believe theres nothing to fear with goth. God is powerful over those goth who used it in evil activities. Teens may get involve here coz they like contemporary things but getting God involve here surely will rock!

Less Sleep Ends to More Dreams
October 24th, 2007 · 2 Comments

I always have sleepless nights due to studying and work. The most weary thing I hate most is having a dream when Im at sleep. I feel my dreams are so terrible. As I browse the net, I passed by an article that says, “Missing sleep tonight may just boost your dreams tomorrow night” by Christie Nicholson.
As research explains it, when someone is sleep deprived we see greater sleep intensity, meaning greater brain activity during sleep; dreaming is definitely increased and likely more vivid.
If that is the case, “Nature’s soft nurse” as Shakespeare called sleep, isn’t so soft after all. So guys, you know what to do, sleep the whole day… hahaha… kidding….

President of France Used Divorce in Politics?
October 19th, 2007 · No Comments

Just gone reading articles for few hours. This article caught my attention wherein President Nicolas Sarkozy announces his divorce with his wife on the protest day. Some thinks that this action is used to take attention away from the strike. People in France are used of having strike aroud but not hearing a president to go on a divorce. Anyway, who likes strikes? Personally I hate strikes coz its hard to go to office, got to any place I want. It can also make the country’s economy slightly drop. See what it can do? It affects the business… No one wins, all looses. About their divorce, who cares? Its their personal life and not ours. Let them solve their own problem. Who wants to use their personal life in showbiz anyway?

Illegal Job Interview Questions
October 10th, 2007 · No Comments
Already late for work and still I am at home thinking of how to solve my problem on the script I am currently working on. I started to think why not I look for another job? But I don’t like to loose a good job where I may learn a lot about telephony eventually I changed my mind. I had a second thought because it is really difficult to answer an interviewers question why I am applying at their company. Why do interviewers do that… such a pain! Why don’t they look at your capacity instead?
I saw a page written by Suzanne Thornberry and to my surprise it discusses of certain illegal questions not to be asked on a prospect employee. Believe it or not, they have a point.
They pointed out ten things. These are:
#1: Where were you born?
This question might seem like small talk as you get to know a person, but it could also be used to gather information illegally about the candidate’s national origin. Although it may seem more relevant, you should also avoid asking, “Are you a U.S. citizen?” You can ask whether a candidate is authorized to work in the United States, but avoid asking about citizenship.
#2: What is your native language?
Again, the problem is that this question could be used to determine national origin. You can ask whether the person knows a language if it is required for the job. For example, if job responsibilities include supporting Spanish-speaking customers, it’s fair to ask whether the candidate speaks Spanish.
#3: Are you married?
Here’s another question that would seem innocent in most settings, but definitely not in a job interview. Because you can’t discriminate on the basis of marital status, this question is off limits.
#4: Do you have children?
This might sound like small talk, too — an innocent question in most settings — but not in a job interview. It’s covered by a general prohibition about discrimination over parental status.
#5: Do you plan to get pregnant?
In the past, employers sometimes asked this question to weed out women who might take a maternity leave. It has always been rude coming from a casual acquaintance, and now it’s illegal as well.
#6: How old are you?
Some companies used to avoid hiring older workers for a variety of reasons, ranging from a fear of higher healthcare costs and absences to a social bias in favor of youth. But age discrimination is clearly illegal, and you should avoid this question. Don’t try to get the information by asking when the person graduated from college, either.
#7: Do you observe Yom Kippur?
You can’t discriminate on the basis of religion, so this question is illegal, as would be asking about Good Friday, Ramadan, or the Solstice. If you’re concerned about the candidate’s availability, you could ask whether he or she can work on holidays and weekends, but not about the observance of particular religious holidays.
#8: Do you have a disability or chronic illness?
This information is not supposed to be used as a factor in hiring, so the questions are illegal. If the job will require some specific physical tasks, such as installing cables in walls and ceilings, you may ask whether the person could perform those tasks with reasonable accommodation.
#9: Are you in the National Guard?
Although some managers may find it disruptive when employees leave for duty, it’s illegal to discriminate against someone because he or she belongs to the National Guard or a reserve unit.
#10: Do you smoke or use alcohol?
In general, you can’t discriminate on the basis of the use of a legal product when the employee is not on the premises and not on the job.
I really believe these things makes sense. Anyway, why do most interviewers still make the same mistake? Is it really a mistake? Hmmm… I guess not. I still believe it still depends on the interviewee if he/she likes to answer the question. If not, just say you may not able to answer the question for privacy reasons.
On the interviewers side, to avoid asking the wrong questions, develop an interview form and use a copy of it for each candidate. It will document that you asked each interviewee the same questions. Failing to do so may establish a pattern that could seem discriminatory. For example, if you ask only women about their willingness to travel, thinking that the responsibilities of childcare would make them balk at business trips, you could establish a pattern of discrimination.
