Looking Around… Business and Leisure

This is the first time for me to feature a fraternity/sorority on my blog. Honestly, I really am pleased that someone asked me to write something eventhough Im not a part of it. I graduated from a school in pasig but haven’t tried joining such a sorority yet. I feared of hazing and doing something that doesn’t make me feel comfortable. Just being curious, why do these people likes to be part of “Tau Gamma Phi”? What do they have? To get some points, here are list I got from different point of views :

Gather Lifelong Friendship
Speaking of friendship, Tau Gamma Phi started on 1968 so as expected there is already lot of member in this frat. From different walks of life they are bound of friendship denoted as co-operative and supportive behavior in the group. In simplest term call it MUTUAL. Mutual in a sense of involving knowledge, affection, sympathy, empathy, etc.

Receiving Support
In all means, if a praternity connotes friendship surely it connotes support. Support financially, academically and even in a crazy style hehehe, etc. Older brothers can serve as tutors and mentors for new members. In case of problems, you can count on them. This frat is already brought internationally (US) so surely you can hang on them so guys here I come…

Developing Skills and Talents
Since the group is supportive, skills and talents arise. Brethren have different likes and experiences for your hearts to learn and ponder. Just absorb as much as you can.

Enjoy Social Activities & Sports
There are variety of activities that the group involved in. Sports are an important part of the experience. Whatever your skill, whatever your interest, there is a team for you to participate on. There are social activities for everyone, whether you prefer small groups or large crowds. Social should be defined as interacting with a variety of people in unique settings.

Just to leave a small note, brotherhood/sisterhood is good but if someone says hazing, I can no longer say it is. If you are telling that fraternity requires hazing I bet its not. It should be camaraderie. If anyone can hear my voice, I suggest open a fraternity with no hazing, if you have one surely you can count on me… Anyway, I guess there is walla a christian fraternity but I guess I like to try Tau Gamma Phi. Hmmm… hope its not just on my dreams…
